Why prevent someone from going to heaven? Doesn't the baby go to heaven if the baby is aborted?
Sinners have higher chance of going to hell than heaven:
13 “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. 14 But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. Matthew 7:13-14

how can we even expect to hear from God when we don’t even care to listen to what He’s said before. |

True, the baby does go to heaven. However, who are we to decide WHEN the baby should go? Aborting the baby for the reason to give them the “opportunity” NOT to sin is like taking away their free will. God doesn't even do that to us. Now, in line with free will… i know someone's going to ask that.

thanks belle!
pro-abortionists would ask this inline with the original question: isn't that the goal of christianity though, to get more people saved?
i agree with you. that's like asking God why He created humans if He knew they're gonna sin or miss His mark anyway. if someone or group of people [extremely radical religious people] were to find that idea [abortion as a mean to get people saved] to be a “truth”, humankind would seize to exist 'cause they'd kill the future generation. and that's just horrendous… i don't think God would allow that anyway. [maybe that was a silly question but i guess worth answering anyway]. also, the work of Christ would be in vain, for He came to give us life [new life eternal] and so that we can live that life [while still here on earth] more abundantly (John 10:10). Christ called us to share the Gospel, not to save people; He's the only one that can save people.

didn't get a chance to read everythign but I think that being saved by “prevention” is not what God intended. He would rather us make a choice to have him save us. Or else none of us would even exist.

Yea..that happens to me belle.
But yea to answer the question…
Yes an aborted baby goes to heaven.
The baby does not have the capability to understand right from wrong.
Ha sad to say it wasnt even given the opportunity to live.
The God I serve would not punish this child based on another persons actions.
We are all judged according to our own actions not others.

Actually, an unborn baby has not been baptised and cannot do pennance. It's soul is un-pure and thus will go to purgatory.

From the lips of Jesus, He gave the assurance that the Kingdom of heaven belongs to children.
Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
To say that abortion should be allowed because the baby goes to heaven anyway is to make a horrible, twisted excuse for a very heinous act: murder of the innocent and helpless. This argument could be carried further by saying, “Why not just kill all those who have believed and received Jesus as Lord and Savior? They're going to heaven anyway.”
Yes, aborted babies go to heaven, but God also says murder is wrong. You can't give one truth as an approval for another truth that's a prohibition. You have to take them both at face value. Again: babies who die or are murdered go to heaven, but we are prohibited from murdering babies or anyone.
