1.         Our knowledge of other people’s mistakes is not an authorization for us to judge

2.         Slandering others for their disobedience to God is disobedience to God. To judge someone is to sit on a judgment seat.  To slander others for their conduct is a slanderous conduct.  When we judge others for their mistake, we’re making a mistake.  When we try to destroy other people’s reputation, it’s our reputation we destroy.  In destroying others, we rob ourselves of the benefits we get from seeing the beauty in other people. In essence, we are destroying ourselves.

3.         We can’t truly express the fullness of our love to others if we’re also judgmental to them. Judgmentalism will always pull us back from fully expressing our love.

4.         Everyone has flaws, everyone can be criticized. Often it’s not about mistakes, it’s about differences. Flaws, mistakes, or differences, nothing is worth sacrificing our relationships for. 

5.         Backbiting is for cowards.  They don’t even give the other person a chance to defend.
