Is it expensive for the upkeep of the server? maybe we can setup a donations button for the server! I'd donate!

rhino took on his shoulder to pay for monthly fee of the server as a love gift to fcf. jason is paying for the domain registration.  we're thinking of having a donate/partner section in contact us page for fcf's ministries and for fcf as a whole.

That would be great! Maybe we can get sponsors from Local Christian Book stores if we post them in a “Link List” of recommended stores etc.
Without making it too commercialized.

It's not all that expensive to run the server  . We could certainly do a donation link with paypal or something but if we do I would prefer that all of that money should go to the Church, not to me. I was also thinking maybe we could do a Classifieds section on the site where people or businesses could post an advertisement or message for a small fee. Again, all proceeds would go towards FCF's operating costs, missionary work, etc etc.
What do you guys think? Any more cool ideas for raising money for Church? I'm all ears!

That sounds like a great idea, having christian companies advertise here. maybe we can have a window with just advertisement so it's not all on our home page.
We can have companies like: Boba loca, zoe wear, valley book and bible, etc. Let's brains storm some more ideas………….

OOOOHHH. Wow, that is a GREAT IDEA!!!!  We can create a flyer or a poster that maybe we can give out to businesses. With this, we really need to get our website out. We can do it!

yep we could definitely do it but I think we would need to promote the site and get some more traffic going to it first, more traffic = more advertising dollars.
In the meantime I think Cnote himself is looking into hooking up a paypal account for FCF so that we can take donations and possibly even sell stuff on the site! That would be pretty cool too I think.

Sekih, sounds good. I have an idea it's kinda “you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours” If we solicit christian companies to advertise here, we can give them a discount if we can advertise with them. Even further, if they don't have a website, you can give them a discount to build one for them. We can get funds buy advertising them on our website and get exposure buy advertising with them. And if they wish not to have a website, maybe we can just put up a flyer up in their business. We can have cards or flyers made and we can go to stores and business and ask them if we can leave them there. They can say something like “got questions?” or touch on, if they need a friend this is a good place to find one. You get what I'm saying right?
