Hey guys, great job on the website and fourms so far. Its nice start! I really like the idea of having forums for discussions and announcements and such.

Can we have another forum subject for random stuff like a “Miscellaneous” for topics such as “Did anyone find my sweater?” or “Can I borrow a steamcleaner?” and then when the Misc. forums starts a trend then you can make a new forum subject like if we start posting a lot of  “pictures” or music, or FCF proverbs… etc.

maybe even an RBG Chat thread?

MORE SMILEYS!! like these:

and my favorite…

these are a few from the S2ki.com forums i'm on. found here:

http://www.s2ki.com/forums/ind…..ons&s=

can we also have a “preview” button next to the “post” button of the post before we post it?

keep up the good work!

as per your request, http://www.fcflife.com/forum/m…..ellaneous/

how can we even expect to hear from God when we don’t even care to listen to what He’s said before.

thank you so much for your input kpaul! i'll discuss with aaron about your smileys, post preview, and view topics started suggestions.

for the now you can view all the topics you started by clicking on “Members” http://www.fcflife.com/forum/?…..st=members and in the last column where it says “Info” is an icon that does the function.

can you explain what you mean by the “default email notification under the profile”? is it to notify that you have private messages or new comments to topics you subscribed to?

Exactly. it's a default option (in the profile/options menu) so that you can check a box saying that you want to be automatically subscribed to threads/topics you've posted in. This way if you're active, you don't have to keep individually subscribing, or forget to. I think this will help keep it active (for those who check the box) and encourage more hits!

the math thing was cool the first time…. I'm running out of fingers and toes…

another suggestion (dude, not all my suggestions are good either, so whatever you think is good) anyways, a spell checker? :) That would help me not look so, as pastor would say, feeble-minded.

I'm just thinking out loud and I want to be the #1 poster hahahahahaha

ooh, and maybe along with the “start a new topic” is “start a new poll” , for things like hey which shirt design do you like best?

  • black with blah blah
  • blah blah
  • or blah blah

and then click here to see results! <—

vote for pedro!

There's so much more areas to check out on the fcflife website, I love the music option on the left! I still haven't checked it all out yet. Really has a lot of depth! I appreciate your efforts, seriously keep it up, this is a very user friendly website/forum! (with a full time admin) hahaha.

thanks! glory to God! our aims are to help our brothers and sisters and our site visitors to have the same level of experience and growth that exist in our physical church and to be a great channel of spreading the Word near and far.

btw, i might be getting a job soon! but this is mine and aaron's main ministry, so no worries.

Hey everybody! Thanks for your suggestions. I like the idea of a polling function where you can ask questions and get people to vote. I'll check into that one and see if I can find something that will work…Wink

Ideaanother idea and observation. It was cool how under the ministry category, the RBG has a recycled sign. It would be cool if all the ministries had a logo or something (it's not really in your control) just a suggestion. It would give each of the ministries something to accomplish as a group. It would also make the website more symmetric (i know pastor likes that!) hahaha

IdeaSome of the forums I've joined (mostly car forums) have “posting rules”. That might be a good idea too. We can put what the forum is about. why we have it and no profanity, lude comments or pics, etc… well I guess it wouldn't be a problem at this stage since we're all christians. Maybe once we're at 1,XXX members!! SOON!Thumb Up
