I thought it would be cool if we can post things that we are thankful for to encourage one another of what God has done for us this year.

.. Jesus- My salvation and new life!  Can't trade for anything – for the forgiveness of all my failures and for giving lots of chances to live life over again.

.. My family – for being there to support, encourage, and lift me up always.

.. Julia – for being so understanding, loving, and always there to make me smile every day!

.. FCF Family – for the love of Christ being demonstrated through the bond of unity with our lovefor Christ.

.. FCF uth [and youth in general] – because your presence and the presence of this generation has broke my heart to reach the lost for Christ.

.. Better friends and Friends – I appreciate all the laughs and tears.  Let's have more laughs! I'm honored to be called ur friend.

In Love

I definitely have something to share tonight and I am very excited!

I am currently at work at this hour and there have been many things that have happened tonight that has made me realized how much God is close to me. I am a CNA for Glendale Adventist Medical Center and work from 6:30pm to 7am. I normally take my breaks around 1:00am. I bring this up because I will come to my point. I had forgotten my dinner today and requested from the charge nurse if I may goto In-N-Out before they close. She had excused me and it was about 1:00am that I left.

As I was awaiting my order in the drive-thru I realized I had forgotten to do one important task to complete before I leave for my break. Worried, I started to pray. I thanked him for everything that he has done for me and acknowledged his character for taking care of his children. I then asked me specifically that as soon as I return that I may complete that task before it would become something held against me. I worried no more and put it all in His hands, that meant that I didn't even check the time or felt the need to rush.

Upon my return to work. I dropped the food off and realized that I was still able to complete the task and thanked him with all my heart. Then I wondered, what is it that I can do for him in return? And as soon as I had the time to check my email I received this Daily Devotional from the Purpose Driven Life newsletter:

We Serve God by Serving Others
by Rick Warren

“Whoever wants to be great must become a servant” (Mark 10:43 MSG).

How wonderful it is to know how much he knows what we need to know!

Life is like a box of chocolates, it is sweet and always loved! – I’m just filling in my profile until I come up with something better

@Tina Lane Praise God, indeed! He is there no matter where we are. Imagine a life without Him? He cares about all those little things we care about. He knows our every need past present and future. He doesnt learn anything new which means we dont have to worry. Everything, has passed through Him already and He has everything under control. We can leave worry free lives.
