LCU Batch 1 is learning and dissecting the book of Proverbs right now.  One of the activities we did was to create our own proverb.  So, here are some of them (raw and unedited).  Hope you guys find them inspiring :)

“He that thinks only of his belly

is like a hungry lion who devours anything he sees.”

-Joan Marci

“Wisdom makes knowledge look good.”

“Admitting wrong is right but denying right is wrong.”

-Marlon Ordono

“As sweet music is pleasing to the ears

so are sweet words to the soul.”

-Belle Cagas

“The ways of a foolish man brings dishonor to his family;

but a life surrendered to God brings glory to the home.”

-Jerry Saenz

Wow nice smileys!!!

I just wanna share a proverb i made last night.

I was so awake last night that i thought we were just going through the second hour of our class but it turns out the

class is almost over.

We learned about discipline, correction, co-signing, laziness

Praise God for proverbs.

I suggest you read 1 chapter of proverbs everyday additional to your devotion.

Wisdom is crying out in the streets. Open your eyes and you can learn something from the situation you are in.

That sounds like a proverb!! But that's not the proverb i shared

Here it goes:

“As a pimple is an irritation to the face

So is a man who sleeps all day”

SleepFrustrated

We all laughed.  But it is so true.

A lazy person is an irritation.

hello everyone!

here's what batch 2 came up with as we ended our class in ProverbsBible:

“To retaliate is human, but to forgive is Christian.”

“Relying on the world may give you insurance, but relying on the Word gives you assurance.”

“The presence of Christ in our toughest times is like the withstanding of a blacksmith in a fire when refining gold.”

- Cyril Florita

“Don't just say love; live love.”

“Better a few words with wisdom than many empty words.”

“A victorious Christian's life is a life of free-will surrendered.”

- Michael Sean Florita

“Do not try to undo the past, you can't; instead, outdo it.”

“God requires one thing from us; everything.”

“We may not be the fastest, smartest, or strongest, but in Christ, we are all we need to be.”

“The hype-beast conforms to the world's trends and is never satisfied, but the man in Christ conforms to the will of God and has an everlasting peace.”

- Marvin Ordono

“Anyone can follow a standard, but it takes a greater person to set one.”

“The body may be distant from sin but the heart is close.”

“We must wait on God to change our heart. In the process acting in faith and obedienc.”

” A distant heart = A distant God.”
