We Will Still be Raised

Psalm 113:7-8 He raises the poor from the dust and the needy from the ash heap; He sets them with princes, with the princes of their people.
From dusts and ash heaps to thrones and palaces – that’s how far and how high the LORD can lift  the needy.

Even He

John 1:11 He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him.
Even He Who never deserved rejection was rejected for us.
It may be an issue of pride for us to be unwilling to undergo rejection for Him.

Nobility

Isaiah 32:8 But the noble man makes noble plans, and by noble deeds he stands.
Nobility is demonstrated consistently both in plans and actions. There is no such thing as half-noble. Either one is or one is not.

Careful!

Carefulness is a requisite for a firm stand. Constant humility is a good start. No matter how we view ourselves or where we consider ourselves in our Christian journey, being careful is always in order.
“So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall.” – 1 Corinthians 10:12 -

It’ll Find Ya

Please, dear loved ones, let’s spare ourselves and others from much heartache, headache, embarrassment and unnecessary pain. Don’t get sucked into sin’s deceitfulness thinking we can in some way get away with it.
“… your sin will find you out.” – Numbers 32:23.
– Just caring.

Utmost Certainty

2 Peter 1:10 Therefore my dear brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall.
A believer who passionately makes his calling and election a matter of utmost certainty is one who is able to stand firmly, and walk uncompromisingly.

Keep Out

Matthew 18:7 “Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!
Sin’s presence is inevitable but being its cause and victim is avoidable.

Could Care Less

1 Corinthians 4:3 I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself.
No man could render an absolutely fair and just assessment of anyone because no one has absolute knowledge about anyone but God.
This being the case, we ought to never be [...]

Greater than the Messenger

Galatians 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!
The Gospel message is greater than the messenger no matter how great the messenger may be.
As messengers of the Gospel, it is our task to proclaim it faithfully. [...]

No Need to Tell

Luke 20:8 Jesus said, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”
Yes, we ought to always be ready to give an answer to those who asks us about our faith, but we are not obligated to always answer everyone who questions us.
