FAITH CELEBRATION FELLOWSHIP To be instruments of God, to seek and to serve people near and far to become fully devoted followers of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Sight-Setting

Ezekiel 16:47 You not only walked in their ways and copied their detestable practices, but in all your ways you soon became more depraved than they are.

Followers may end up doing more than those they follow.

Be wise on who we follow.

thank you pastor! if i may share what i’ve learned from you before and from what you just shared…

in discipleship or in our growth in the Lord, the main goal is to disciple others to live as the Lord Jesus did. but sometimes, disciplers fail to point them to the life and teachings of Christ. they instead pass down their own understanding of God, doctrines, philophies, personal convictions/visions, etc. and that’s what makes it dangerous to follow others. so it’s critical that we ultimately follow only Jesus if our desire is to be true disciples of Him (John 8:31-32 NLT). yes, we can still follow our disciplers, teachers, pastors, and fellow brother/sister just as long as we witness that they truly follow Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1 NLT).
