The Central Figure

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.”

Much as Jesus has done for us, the central figure in all of life is not us, it’s Christ. In fact, it is surrender of self, and surrender to Christ.
