DANGEROUS MISCONCEPTIONS Posted on Monday, March 4th, 2013

Hosea 8:2-3 Israel cries out to me, “O our God, we acknowledge You!” But Israel has rejected what is good; an enemy will pursue him.”

What one claims doesn’t constitute truth; it’s the corresponding action that proves the validity of what’s claimed. Anyone may claim a genuine relationship with God, but if that person’s deeds are ungodly, that claimed relationship with God is nothing but that – just a claim.

One of the most devastating misconceptions anyone can have is about relationship with God. To believe that we have one when there’s really none will blind us from the necessary change we ought to have. It’s not enough to have something to say; it’s wise to also watch what we do. Our deeds show our true status.
